Mike Myers paid homage to his Austin Powers costar Verne Troyer<\/a> in a genuine declaration on Saturday, April 21, after learning of the actor\u2019s decease and his active twitter followers loved it.<\/h2>\n

\u201cVerne was the consummate professional and a beacon of positivity for those of us who had the honor of working with him,\u201d the Saturday Night Live alum said in a statement. The declaration styled the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer\u2019s Stone actor as \u201ca fighter when it came to his own battles,\u201d toting that \u201cover the years he\u2019s struggled and won, struggled and won, struggled and fought some more, but unfortunately, this time was too much.\u201d<\/p>\n

Troyer\u2019s cause of death has not been publicized but the statement also referenced depression and suicide, adding, \u201cYou never know what kind of battle someone is going through inside.\u201d<\/p>\n
